A fan-made prequel to Back To The Future imagines just how the series’ eccentric Doc Brown got the fuel to power his time traveling DeLorean—and does so in extremely dramatic fashion.
Expanding on an often glanced over subplot from the movie where Doc Brown steals a case of plutonium from Libyan terrorists, the prequel, titled 1.21 Gigawatts, imagines just how the good doctor came in contact with the Libyans in the first place.
The trailer splices together scenes from the original film, as well as other movies, such as Syriana, Munich, Zero Dark Thirty and Camp Nowhere—a 1994 comedy that the 1.21 Gigawatts creators used for alternate footage of actor Christopher Lloyd.
