The Senate found itself gridlocked over gun control Monday, with each party voting down each other’s proposals to curb gun violence. Hillary Clinton responded to the situation with a one-word statement, “Enough,” followed by a list of the names of the shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called the Democrats’ proposal “an opportunity to push a partisan agenda or craft the next 30-second campaign ad.” Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Republicans were being supported by “their cheerleaders, the bosses at the NRA.”
